The developer of this custom home subdivision wanted to create an elegant entrance that would have instant impact. The design concept was to integrate the structural elements seamlessly with the planting scheme, and deliver multi-season interest.

To achieve the desired effect, garden walls, piers, and an entrance monument were designed using brick and limestone, creating a formal architectural presence. Large oaks were hand-selected and tree-spaded in as parkway trees. Spruce, Pear, Flowering Crab, shrub roses, perennials and groundcovers were blended gracefully to create a distinct plant palette, and unify the entire design. The entrance now offers year-round beauty and substance in keeping with the custom homes it embraces.
